Credible information reaching the desk of Reportghana.com by MyNewsGhana indicates that the official convoy of the National Democratic Congress’ Vice Presidential candidate Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang has been involved in an accident.
The accident occurred at Sefwi Wiaso in the Western North region this evening.
Our sources say that the dusty nature of the road led to the collision of two of the cars on her convoy.
The woman in contention to become the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana was however not hurt in any way.
The NDC Vice Presidential candidate is in the Western North region on a four-day campaign tour as parts of efforts to solicit for votes for her party ahead of the December 7 election.
The former Cape Coast University Vice-Chancellor will from Tuesday, September 1, embark on a four-day campaign tour to towns in the Western North Region.
The main objective of her visit will be to engage members of communities in the Region on their plights and find ways of resolving them.
She will engage them on a wide range of issues including peace, stability, development, inclusiveness, education and economic prosperity.
John Mahama’s running mate will also hold conversations with communities youth groups, women’s groups and the physically challenged, among others on how their lives can be improved in their various communities.
The NDC Vice Presidential Candidate will also meet with Regional Executives of the NDC to hold interactions as well.
